The Scottish Straight comes from the same Scottish lines as the Scottish Fold. When a folded-eared cat is paired responsibly, the litter can include both folds and straights. The Scottish Straight has upright ears because it does not carry the fold gene that affects cartilage.

Appearance, Colors and Patterns
Scottish Straights have the same round face, large round eyes, and dense coat as the Scottish Fold, but with upright ears. The body is medium and rounded, and the coat can be short or long in many colors.

Personality
